Dancing with the stars

 Last week we were learning to work together as a team. We had to dance to rock & roll and make up our own moves. The song we danced to was Jailhouse Rock. We were also learning to help each other if somebody felt like it wasn't going to work or if we did not add a move because we added to much and we might forget.

I found it easy to think of some dance moves that we could use in our dancing. I also found it easy to put all of our dancing in order by listening to the beat of the music over and over again to get the rhythm. It was also easy to fix up all of our mistakes that we had made.

I found it hard to not laugh when we were up dancing in front of everyone. I also found it hard to make some of the dance moves. It was also hard to get our moves right without forgetting a move.

I really enjoyed dancing in front of everyone even though at the start when we were about to go up it was really scary. I also enjoyed making up the dance moves and I also enjoyed doing all our dance moves up and down and all around the stage that we had to dance on.

Next time I need to use my time more carefully and I also need to add more dance moves in because we have a time that we have to get up to. 

Our respect photos!

 

 

We were learning to be respectful by taking photos of how to move around respectfully,using manners anywhere we go,Taking car of my own belongings and other kids belongings to,respecting people know matter who they are or what the look like,and keeping our hands and legs to ourselves.  This is all part of what RESPECT looks like on a behaviour matrix.

I found it easy to think of the places we can take all of the photos at. It was also easy to edit our photos on PIC-COLLAGE and pick the background for it. 

I also found it easy to write down all the words and pick the colours for them and it was also easy to make up all of our poses for the photos.

I found it hard to pick the type of font for our writing. I also found it hard to take the right photo that had all of us looking at the camera and looking normal by not laughing. It was also hard because we needed to show everyone in the photo because sometimes only somebody's head or arm shows in the photo.

I really enjoyed doing respect photos with all my friends and writing the words and the font that goes with all the words. I also enjoyed being in the photos with my friends and also taking turns of what colour the words are going to be.

Next time I need to take turns with my friends even if things are to hard or even if I don't want to it.

Our korowai art!

        We were learning to be a communicator by working in different groups of people. We were also learning to help each other and not fight with our groups if we did something wrong or messed up. We  were also learning to use the colours that were next to each other or across from each other on the colour wheel.

I found it easy to paint the feathers and cut them out. I also found it easy to communicate with my group and learn with them. I also found it easy to make the feathers by drawing them with with crayon. It was also easy to make different patterns on all the feathers. 

Bio-poem.

        We were learning about how to make a Bio-poem. First we had to move our bio-poem to our folder and name it. Next we had to write a whole description about us. And then we had to take a photo of our self and send it to the back of the page. And finally last but not least we got to make all the writing the colour of our choice.𛲣

I found to easy to write about myself for all the things that I love or like to do. I also found it easy to change the colour of my words and changing the font. Next I found it easy to fix up all of my spelling mistakes and getting onto the camera. And last I found it easy to take my photo and send it to the back.

I found it hard to think about what to write.
